You’re in Good Hands — & in good company

How it started & how it's going

Since its founding in 2006, Hardie Alcozer has been a wellspring of dependable legal insight and warm, personalized service.

Over the years, our firm has grown from a party of two to twenty, allowing us to deepen our collective expertise and serve the Austin community more fully than ever before.

But as we’ve expanded, that small-firm feel endures. Founders Brooke and Riley continue to actively oversee all hires, train and guide the team, and contribute to the firm’s collaborative culture by chiming in with opinions and expertise.

So even though our clients will usually work with just one or two of our attorneys, it’s not a solo effort behind the scenes. We all gather around the conference table on a weekly basis to share what we’re working on and help each other, which strengthens the counsel and service we’re able to provide to our clients.

How we help

We tailor our legal services to the contours of your situation so you can take comfort in a more secure, satisfying future.

When clients come to us, they’re often in the throes of overwhelm or indecision. And for good reason! Dealing with estate-related legalities and logistics can feel daunting, whether you want to finally get your affairs in order, smoothly settle a loved one’s estate after their death, or efficiently navigate a dispute on the horizon. In any case, we will guide you through your circumstances.

Because when the stakes are high (this is your life, after all!) and you’re trusting someone with some of your most vulnerable financial and familial details, who you hire to represent your interests matters. A lot.

The antidote

Patient, reliable legal counsel truly oriented around you.

Our personalized approach honors our clients as full people with unique stories – not faceless, nameless transactions. Instead of cultivating an environment where clients get in and get out to maximize profit, we aim to maximize value by getting to know each client and how we can best serve them.

By being curious, engaged, and transparent with our clients, we’re able to identify the why underpinning what they’re asking for, help them understand their options in a given situation, and decide if a different course of action would actually be more aligned with their financial goals or priorities.

And because many clients are grieving a death, involved in a family dispute, or simply feeling anxious about the future, we make it a point to ensure they feel heard and have all their questions answered, while we take care of what needs to be taken care of.
