Vaibhavi “Avi” Parmar

Avi Parmar is not just a powerhouse in the courtroom; she’s also the kind of teammate who brings curiosity, creativity, and just the right amount of spark to our litigation team. As an Associate, she dives into trusts and estates litigation, fiduciary disputes, and business litigation, juggling everything from federal and state motions to trial strategy while keeping a steady hand in high-stakes cases.

Her legal journey has been nothing short of dynamic. Avi earned her J.D. from Baylor Law School, where she competed in moot court, led the Women’s Legal Society, and made the Dean’s List. Her undergraduate degree in Economics comes from Jai Hind College in Mumbai. In her past roles, she has first-chaired mediations and depositions, second-chaired trials and arbitrations, and expertly managed case dockets, filings, and client expectations, all while spotting business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients.

But don’t let her legal prowess fool you. Avi’s off-duty life is just as vibrant. She enjoys weight training, Pilates, and cycling, but also loves scuba diving, cooking up something new (and usually Instagram-worthy), and digging into books with her South Asian women’s book club. She’s constantly discovering new passions, though she’ll always make time for a good Murdle game or debate over recipe techniques.

At heart, Avi is a strategic thinker who thrives on both intellectual rigor and genuine human connection. Her sharp litigation skills, combined with her lively sense of humor and thoughtful approach, make her a fierce advocate and a joy to work with.

"Hardie Alcozer breaks all the stereotypes of lawyers not being good and caring people"

“I recommend them most highly! Everyone I have worked with there has been skillful, professional, approachable, punctual, and organized. I worked with them with my wife’s will shortly before she died, and they really went out of their way to make the process as painless as possible. Because of this, I retained them to help with the probate process after my wife died. Hardie Alcozer breaks all the stereotypes of lawyers not being good and caring people.”
