Probate and Estate Administration
In a few words: probate and estate administration is the process of settling your loved one’s estate after they pass away and ensuring their assets are properly distributed.
how we help
We’ll tend to the legalities of your loss so you can focus on grieving in full
When we’re in the thick of grief, most of us just don’t have the emotional capacity to inventory our loved one’s assets or clear their debts. So while you might really want to honor your loved one’s legacy and uphold their wishes in terms of asset distribution, actually seeing it all through might feel impossible right now. And that’s okay.
If you’ve recently lost someone, your focus should be on processing your circumstances in whatever ways feel most helpful to you. As for the legal and financial aspects of your loss? Let us take it from here.

Step 01: Submit the Questionnaire
First, fill out the prospective client questionnaire to give us a little insight into your situation so we can set you up with the right attorney on our team.
Step 02: Schedule a Consultation
You’ll then have the opportunity to schedule a call with one of our probate attorneys who can answer your questions and walk you through the general steps of probating an estate. If you’re ready to start the process, we’ll send aN engagement letter your way and help you gather up all the relevant documentation tied to the estate. (If you don’t retain us, the consultation is completely free.)
Step 03: Start the Process
We’ll guide you through the probate process, taking as much off your plate as possible while also keeping you in the loop. As we work on understanding your loved one’s estate and beneficiaries, we’ll make sure you’re informed along the way about how Texas law requires an estate administration to be handled. We’ll file required court documents, notify beneficiaries and creditors, help you complete the court-ordered inventory, and ultimately ensure distributions to beneficiaries go smoothly.
The probate process usually takes between six months and one year.
We’re committed to doing our part to lighten your emotional load.
